Mini Meditation

Keep things chilled with this quick breathing exercise…

  • Find a quiet spot where you won’t be distracted
  • Sit or lay down in a comfortable position
  • Uncross your arms and legs
  • Rest your hands on your legs or at your sides
  • Close your eyes or focus on a single point in front of you
  • Listen to your body inhale and exhale
  • Break from thinking about sources of stress and focus on breathing alone

Count 1
Breathe in.
Breathe out.

Count 2
Breathe in.
Breathe out.

Count 3
Breathe in.
Breathe out.

Continue until you complete ten rounds of breathing in and out

If your mind wanders (and it will) and you lose count, patiently start again at 1.
